AST-CostaIttica is one of the leading companies in Mauritania. It is specialized in fishing and artisanal production of all kinds of fish and shellfish. Located in the Artisan Port of Naouadhibou in Mauritania and from Barcelona, Spain, we market and distribute the elaboration. AST-CostaIttica has an experience of more than 25 years.

We prepare and elaborate all kinds of fish and seafood, specialized in cephalopods, shellfish, flatfish and roe. We have a fleet of own boats for the extraction of the fishing and agreements with other fleets to increase the production if the client requires it.

The company is growing and in a few months we will open a new and modern ship of more than 2,000m2. With a refrigeration plant with different areas for processing, filleting and packaging of fish and seafood, several warehouses and modern offices. Our future refrigeration plant will have a freezing capacity of 20 tons per day, some conservation chambers at -22ºC and a capacity of more than 300 pallets.

We will be able to increase our production, both in quantity, diversity and quality of the country’s products, and be able to supply our customers in the European market and the rest of the world with much more efficiency under the parameters of the highest quality required.
